Your spotlight on local services

Volunteer with us

Could you be a Healthwatch Cheshire volunteer?

  • Are you someone with a passion for making things better?

  • Do you think you could make a positive contribution to a leading organisation representing the people of Cheshire in shaping how health and social care services are delivered?

Here at Healthwatch Cheshire we listen and share the views of local people to ensure that all matters of Health and Social Care reach the decision makers to provide change for the better

You can help to make this difference by listening to people and helping us to relay their views, experiences and message.

What’s in it for you?

  • A chance to take an active role in helping your local community

  • A sense of involvement

  • Being able to make a difference to Health and Social Care

  • Ongoing training and self improvement

  • Build your CV.

A typical day in the life of a Healthwatch Cheshire volunteer may include:

  • Attending meetings and events

  • Talking with local people to find out what they think about local health and care services

  • Finding out the issues people are most concerned about

  • Being part of our Enter & View team.

The video below features pupils from The Queen's School in Chester who took part in a volunteering experience with Healthwatch Cheshire West.
