Healthwatch are the local consumer champion for health and care services in Cheshire East and Cheshire West & Chester. We collect comments from local people and look at information about how well local services are performing. We then produce reports which we share with the people who have the power to make changes to services.
So that we can be effective, we are asking for help in setting our priorities.
What should be our priorities?
In our survey, we ask individuals:
What services people feel that we should prioritise on our workplan for the next year.
About the experience individuals have had when using services.
Healthwatch Cheshire West is currently in the process of changing its name to Healthwatch Cheshire (trading as Healthwatch Cheshire East and Healthwatch Cheshire West), as a result of a jointly commissioned contract across Cheshire East and West to deliver the main functions of Healthwatch and Independent Complaints Advocacy Services.
Healthwatch Cheshire will be an independent voice for the citizens of Cheshire helping to shape and improve local health and social care services. We will achieve this by collecting the voice of lived experience of people across Cheshire and translating this grass-roots information into strategic intelligence that is capable of influencing the commissioning and delivery of local health and social care services.
Welcome to Healthwatch Cheshire West
An independent voice for the citizens of Cheshire West, helping to shape and improve local health and social care services.
